Me and a few friends are the proud new owners of some Nomads. I know the seat is a pain to adjust, and most people end up moving it forward, any tips.

My question is do I want to outmatically move it forward before I try it in the water and I get my hip pads all set up. Or should I wait, paddle it some, then decide to move the seat forward? How do you know for sure if you even have to move to seat? Thanks

Paddle it first, all outfitted. Pads can always be glued back in. See how it sits in the water. Paddle some rapids and get feel of it before moving it is the wisest since you may indeed be doing all the work only to realize you need to push it back to where it was. I just moved Matt's seat forward about a half inch. He needed it forward for sure. He also plans to pad up the seat to sit a bit higher also. Matt took some shots of the process for just this question. I will call him and ask if he can e-mail them to you.
