New wave features in Glenwood could keep water in CO River

Think the Glenwood Wave is awesome? How about THREE MORE features in Glenwood!!! On top of that the City of Glenwood filed an RICD (water rights for recreation) application to help protect flows for all of their world class features, which would also in turn keep minimum flows in the Colorado river protecting habitat and wildlife up and downstream of the city. The application has been contested in court by a number of front range water utilities and other parties but never fear! American Whitewater has intervened on behalf of paddlers and will ensure the courts recognize recreational water rights as equal to other water rights within Colorado's priority system.
