Just moved up to Montana from Tennessee and am looking for people to paddle with/ people who want to chat about rivers. I'm living in Whitefish and am interesting in getting on the West Fork of the Flathead or anything else around/running. I've been down the Clark Fork in Missoula a time or three and am loving the big water!

If anyone wants to take a TN girl boating, let me know!

Tennessee girl in Whitefish? They will find you quickly, rest assured. You'll be beating them with sticks in a bit. The "West Fork of the Flat" would be very rocky this or any time of the year.:p

We're a ways away (Northern Idaho) but we rally over to the Alberton Gorge section and over to a few different stretches on the Flathead at least once a summer (hoping to get on the wilderness section of the MF this spring). We'll be on the Selway/Lochsa on and around Memorial day weekend and over in WA if you're up for driving, pretty much all winter/in between. I'm sure you've found some Whitefish area boaters by now, but feel free to msg me if you're venturing this way or your scheming some future trips and are in need of recruits. (We have a core of 5-6, 25-30 ish y/o women, with some great guys that join us from time to time.)

Also, sorry about living in Whitefish. Such a drag. Hope you'll survive it.

Best,
alli
