with the rock at 1.9 or thereabouts is that runable? I know the rock report for ppark and above does not usually apply to the filter plant run. any experience out there? thanks.

I was up there last weekend and it was looking VERY rocky. We did not see anyone running the FP run (kayakers or tubers) and it was about 11:00 AM on a hot Sunday. We were thinking that you might even have to get out and push through some of the shallow water past Mad Dog.

A friend and I just ran filter plant on Monday at about 7:30. It was our very first run (ever on a river) and we had a great time! But, from what I've seen and heard, it was tiny and yes VERY rocky. We practiced our rolls in a few big holes, but if you were to tip in the actual current, you may need to see a dentist afterwards. The waves are small but still fun if it is your first time out. Any one with any experience however may find it terribly boring. My rafting guide buddy went with us and said the biggest rapid that day may have been a II- only. We (not knowing really what we were doing) got stuck on a lot of rocks from just going over top of them and getting high centered.

But, this kayaking thing is awesome, we are going to run bridges next week i think :D
