I weigh 155 and paddle an Embudo, I think it's the best creek boat out there. It would be better for me if I weighed a little more and had more strength to muscle it around, but I don't find it a handicap. The main problem with the Embudo is relatively little rocker, so it is prone to pitoning. The main strengths of the Embudo is that it is incredibly stable and forgiving, good at punching holes, and has a nice edge for eddy turns and surfing out of holes. It's a little big for super low volume mank, but it can handle it. I've paddled the Creeker 225 about 7 or 8 times. It's a good little boat, but not as versatile as the Embudo. It suffers the same fate as all little boats, it's hole bait. The toughest run I paddled it on was the upper NSV and I did fine, I portaged the 3 worst V+ drops tho. I also paddled it on the canyon run of Boulder Creek at flood this spring and it punched several big holes, but I knew they were coming and charged them hard. I haven't paddled the CFS but more than half of my paddling buddies have one and swear by it. I would say I think the plastic is a little soft, they're always yelling at me not to tie them down too hard 'cause they will deform.
