For those interested...Gloria's family found her body yesterday after coming up here to look almost every weekend since the accident. I'm sure it is a huge relief for them after nearly eight months. I know it is so for those of us who paddle the Poudre. May her husband and family finally find peace after such a tragic situation.

Here is a link to the story in the Coloradoan:

Did they find her near where the accident was?

Only 1.75 mi from where she went in to the river, which was either Super Collider or Sportscar (there were differing accounts). So maybe that is upper or lower mish? Not sure exactly the spot.

1.75 miles from both of those places is no where near upper mish. That sounds more like lower narrows to me, and probably no further down river than stevens gulch.

sorry, but also the reports said that swift currents hindered the rescue and with the water as low as it is the only place with dangerous currents around there would have to be lower.

I believe they found Gloria at mile marker 104, just below the swinging bridge in middle narrows. The location of the accident was Super Collider according to Brian Mattox who saw the accident and was first on scene.

OK, so I have no concept of distance on the river...I'm not surprised. Thanks for clearing that up guys.
