I can't boat evenings this week, so I'm looking to get a run in before work. Problem is, I'm not too confident of being able to hitch a ride for the shuttle. Has anyone tried hitching around 8am during the week? Or, is there anyone out there who wants to get in a quick run? I want to be back in town by 9am or a little after. Give me a shout at [email protected]. I'm planning on just doing bridges, but I'd be flexible on running something else.

How early are you planning on starting? If you are planning on a run at 8 it would be tough to get back by 9. Unless you are just planning on blasting everything and not playing? I work evenings and would be interested in running in the am, but I dont have to be to work until 3pm. can you give me a bit more info, if it works out this week I could maybe run a couple of days.

I can get up there as early as I need to to make it work, but I didn't want to go too early and freeze my ass off. :)

At lower water, about 2'-2.5', I know it takes us about an hour and a half to run bridges if we take our time, but I think the water's moving fast enough now that bombing through it at this level would take about 20-30 minutes. I was figuring on about 45 minutes for a bridges run, so that leaves a moderate amount of time for playing if I get on the river at 8am. I have to be at work at 10am, so that's my time contraint.

Sounds like you've got most of your day, so I'm not sure if it would be worth it to you to go up for just one run. I'd be happy to shuttle you up for a second one though if you want to run it by yourself.

I'm planning on heading up tomorrow about 7am to see what the traffic is like and do a run if I can. I'll have a better idea of timing after that.
