Are there any good places an average Joe can can go get his /her ass kicked in a kayak on some snow?Does Monarch allow kayaks at oyher times?

[MONARCH MOUNTAIN
presents
CO Headwaters of Adventure 1st Annual SnowYak Spring Competition

DATE: April 8, 2006

LOCATION: Base of Monarch Mtn.

DISCIPLINES
 Head to Head Downhill - Two boats side by side, placed on separate tracks/courses. Fastest kayak of the two advances to next round. (Must be over 12 yrs of age.)

 Boater Cross - four boats at one time on same start line (not individual tracks). Top two boats advance to next round. Final round: first boat to cross the finish line wins. Potential for carnage. (18 and over only.)

 The Bartender Challenge - Obstacle course for bartenders, waitstaff and/or anyone interested in sporting a pair of ski boots, tray with drinks in hand and hitting a spiffy obstacle course, designed by the mountain staff.
(18 and over only.)

AWARDS:
 Winner: Head to Head, Male & Female
 Winner: Boater Cross, Male & Female
 Winner: Bartender Challenge, Male & Female
 Overall - Both events, Male & Female
 Overall - Costume & Spirit
 Children – Girl and Boy
