Greetings yall

Wondering if any of you have run or heard of the Missinaibi River in Ontario?

I was lucky enough to do a 28 day expedition up there as a part of my degree. Starting on lakes preceding the river. The river flows North all the way to the James Bay ( Arctic Circle, Polar Bear Country) ... we stopped about half way. But we were also at crawling pace, being on a class trip. You could easily get to the Hudson Bay in 28 days.

Of course we did it as a canoe trip, and had to do many of portages... wondering if any canoers/kayakers go up there and run the whole thing??would be quite the expedition! Beautiful Scenery, wildlife, no civilization, wilderness, wonderful.... the only downside is the flat water...

Some day I will go back and do it again on my own... just wondering if any one out there has? and if not, maybe suggest to put it on your radar if you are looking for a remote expedition, that not many people do... that is actually pretty easy to pull off...

you can ride the train back with your boat!!!
