Opinions on whether the Milk Run by Buena Vista is benign enough for kids? They did State Bridge a few weeks ago and were fine. Or is Stone Bridge to Salida a better easy run?

I think the bridge to Salida would be about the same as what they've done. Milkrun can be a little fast at the beginning depending on how comfortable they are. No bad holes or anything just fast water and lots of sleeper rocks. Just me my $.02

Kiddos will have better time on the milk than SB to town. First 1/4 will give them some good splashes, then the fun wave train below fishermans. Besides the dam, the section from SB is super easy, which equals boring to kids.

I took 7 kids (2-11) down both last weekend, and they all preferred MR.

oh, go as a paddle raft. They can help, or at least attempt to!

If we have time, we may do both. What's the trick with the dam at SB? Portage it?
