there is a campground at the takeout, forget what it is called though
My understanding was that the campgrounds and a lot of the little stuff below the bigger drop where all washed out last year in a hurricane. I don't know if they have rebuilt yet...

If you're looking for a guide service, there are two that work that area.

agua AZUL Whitewater Kayaking in Mexico is run by Grant Amaral - I've always ran my own trips, but I have had friends go on his guided trips and they had a blast. His camp is right at the base of Micos, too.

I think that Andria & Leland Davis run a program too - It might be just for women, though.

I was down there this last December and it looks like everything is back up and functional after the hurricane rains. People were camping and the little stores were all open. Can't wait to go back.

I would definitely try to plan your trip for November; December at the latest. January is too risky for low flows
