We like to camp at the Bruce Meadow campground area on our way into the Middle Fork. Our launch date is June 7. Anyone know if it is campable now? Snow? Mud?
Also, any surprises on the river? Did it at 2.1 last year, looks like we have a bit more than that, which is nice.

Not sure about the campground but the river was great! We launched from boundary on 5/22 and took off on 5/26. Good luck getting the information you need.

Launched on 5/30 at boundary creek and took off on 5/31. There was no snow at the boundary creek campground this past weekend so Bruce Meadow should be good to go.

Is there a way to reserve a site at Bruce Meadows? Or first-come, first-serve? And if so, are sites easy to get? Can't seem to find info anywhere.

cpprice, this is a very casual "campground" with several dispersed sites. Some space available where you make the right hand turn at the intersection, half mile before the camp area. Camp is right before the bridge. First come first served, Elk and sandhill cranes last time. Bruce

This is a disbursed camping area (Boise National Forest). Stipulatons for camping are 100' from water features and 300' from roads (main roads) pack in/pack it out. Currently no campfire restrictions, but will change with conditions.
