Man who jumped into Clear Creek presumed dead I don't know why this hasn't been posted, but a married man, father of two has not been found after jumping into Clear Creek around midnight last Saturday morning. I want the boating community to be aware to possibly bring closure to the family. Searchers had to wait several hours until light, so he may have traveled quite some distance. The bones of Amy Ahonen, whose car was at Black Rock rapid when she disappeared, were discovered years later in Clear Creek in Wheat Ridge and Adams County. A play boat was recently found near the confluence of Clear Creek and the South Platte, so we know the creek can carry things quite far. I saw a lot of intense search activity in the Coors area but wonder how much was searched downstream? What is the search protocol and can it be improved?
