Front Range fasties,

Just a heads up and final confirm that the Lyons Outdoor Games Downriver Race is a full go with adequate flows coming up this past Monday. I paddled the course to remove final wood hazards last night and flows are in the 200 cfs range and no stern hits through the whitewater park or paddle hits.

Pre race safety meeting/registration 9am at Bohn Park in Lyons by Black Bear Hole (other side of river from Black Bear parking lot)
Race start 10am Apple Valley Bridge
Short and long boat classes (9 ft or less, 9ft or more) and senior/junior classes.

Great schwag in 4 classes from Immersion Research and KEEN.

I think, if you can scrape together three, you can make a class...

"Further class divisions, such as male and female, will depend on the number of entries we get; a minimum of 3 entries will be required for each individual class."

So, get three and you've got a race!

Correct, OC1 etc will be added if we have more than 3 and if not then you'd fall into the long boat senior or junior division. If Nate Lord or his son Bryant race, that's 2 OC1's right there then Ryan something from Lyons is also an OC1 boater.

We will certainly publish the results with subdivisions like plastic and composite, OC1 etc, male, female in the primary divisions so show the world how fast you are in your OC1!
