I had a product from NRS go bad (sprey skirt) and all I did was call them. I sent it back and they gave me a new one with no worries. Also, I have NRS float bags and have had them for 2 yrs with no problems. Hope this helps you out.

I really like it, though I can't vouch for its longevity just yet.... I know, I know. There is a part of me that *does* feel like a pimp at the moment.

 

Glad to hear that NRS stands by their product.

What may well have happened is that I filled up my float bag at Denver elevation, 5000 ft, and then drove over Eisenhower tunnel at 11,500 ft and the added pressure stretched the seams, creating all the small leaks I saw on the seams. I'm not sure if I should expect the bags to handle this.

 

My new NRS split stern bags have been great for a dozen or so runs and seem solid. My only complaint is that they should not be gray and black -- brighter colors, please. I don't want to accidentally leave them on a gray rock, etc.

 

I had the same issue with my NRS rodeo bags. Never could find where the leak was coming from, but I got new bags within a week. Great customer service.

 

I always open mine up after I'm done with a run. Heat will make the air in the expand like a balloon, just like altitude.
