There is some good surf and lots of fun eddy lines to squirt and wheel on. If your small boat is comfy, bring that. One of my happiest whitewater memories is squirting in Echo Park right next to the huge sandstone cliff, laying back and looking up at 500 ft of sheer tan rock and blue sky.
