I'm going to be in the estes park area for vacation and am looking for popular class 3 runs (so I can paddle with other people) or park & play in the area. I'll be the only boater in the group so places where a lot of people go would be good. So if you have any sugguestions it would be appreciated.

Lyons play park and Black Bear hole, depending on flows. Can also drive up to the Poudre from there. Lots of boaters at both these places.

talk to people at the mountain shop, most of them boat. The Big tompson if it has water is a great run as well. If your with the family or whatever, at the Dairy Queen in Estes Park, there is a hole on the creek there. You can spin, cartwheel, loop if its high enough as well. Let me know when your coming and Ill meet you at the hole, or the town run has water and can be run as well.
