Kayaking Shoes

How are you using these shoes? Are you doing a lot of portaging, scouting, and approaches? For me personally it looks like I would be rolling my ankle all day in those ACGs with those thick soles.

I wear Xero Shoe's Speed Force. It is basically a sock glued on an indestructible 4mm sole, the 2020 moccasins if you will, def fits in any kayak, and I also use them as hiking shoes since they dry so fast. Probably not what you are looking for, but the shoes I use for all my boating adventures, but I only do class IV scouting and portaging and approaches.
