anyone know if these are running? american whitewater lists a guage--but it is confusing. i want to do the upper and take an intermediate down the lower. is the flow you drive over on hwy 50 the flow you will have? thanks
Kannah creek is actually pretty unrunnable due to numerous barb wire fences. When CRC2 was written the runs were clean because the high water year floods had flushed them out. Now it's a fence and property issue nightmare.
There is an upper section that's not in the book that is more bang for your buck. Take out where the put in for the upper is, and hike up about a mile to put in, or until your hands start shaking. Scout everything, and plan your eddies. It's five plus.
In the Junction area Buzzard is a better run, but always bony.
