I was finally able to get my Briggs completed in time for a Hells Canyon launch on the 12th. Due to an unforeseen family crisis, we had to cancel ( at Oxbow). We made the best of it on our way home and she managed to get her hull wet on the Snake out of Jackson. It was a great, albeit brief float. It feels great to have her on the water, the family loves her and she gets some great comments where people appreciate these awesomeboats. I included a couple of pics of her birth in Brad Dimock's shop in Flag. Several people on the sire were in the workshop in 2018. I didn't take her home from there but acquired her in 2019. It has been a great experience completing her and I appreciate everyone who has contributed with their hands, thoughts, and advice. Enjoy

Heck yeah! Welcome to the addiction. Felt amazing to feel water under her floor, didn't it?!
Fit and finish looks really nice.
Assuming you built your own oarlock stanchions? (I spy a bit of angle iron on the gunnel in the one outdoor shot.)

Thanks, MT. It did indeed feel great. Looking forward to getting out again before the summer is over. I have a Westwater trip next month. We'll see how the flows are. And yes, my son and I fabricated the oar stands. I have average welding skills at best, but I think I got what I intended. They felt and worked great.
