My friends that have love 'em. Crazy how diversified and goal specific something like a "pack raft" became in a decade; they now have 2-3 pound models solely designed for flat water (Supai designed for GC canyoneering loops) to the whitewater specific (new alpaca design) and everything in between. I am amazed are how resilient such a gossamer material seems to be.
I am about to sell the travel trailer (today hopefully) I lived out of when I was a dirtbag guide. Can't decide between purchasing one of these (money will only cover 2/3 of current costs) or a rifle to get into deer and elk hunting. I sure would love to float the Dirty Devil and Escalante most years, not to mention it would be badass for the sections of the Virgin River in my ability.
