Hi gang,
New to rafting so I apologize for the newb question, but was curious about this. I was wondering what is the white plastic decking I see on lots of peoples oar frames. It looks like white cutting board material. Mine has plywood that came with it but want to either buy or make and cut my own.
Any help would be appreciated.

Most of the white 'decking' that I've seen are Polyethelene (spelling?) or aka HDPE (high density polyethelene). The stuff is bullet proof and not to terribly expensive. It's available through pretty much any plastics distributor (Laird Plastics is who I am familiar with.)

I am sure there are other materials that people have used. Hope this helps

*edit* crap - randaddy beat me to it. That's the stuff in his link. I found it quite a bit cheaper through plastics distributor than the pricing on that website though.

Thanks gang............
So my next questions what thickness?
I'm replacing 3/4 plywood that is 24 X 58?
It runs from the left rail to the right rail of my oar frame.
Thanks,
Scott
