Howdy all,
I am looking to do some playboating in the eastern half of the country and I need some one to point out a few good play spots.

I need to meet the following criteria
1. needs to be close to an airport within an hour or so
2. needs to have a shop near by that rents or demos boats (can't fly with my boat)
3. Some great play holes that are well visited so i wouldn't be boating alone.

on my side of the country we have the play parks at Reno , and Durango I am looking for something similar on the eastern half of the country. Any help would be much appriciated. Take Care

Charlotte has the National Whitewater Center (US National Whitewater Center //// TAKE IT OUTSIDE !!! \ | Home) that is kind of like a huge playpark.

Little Rock has a nice play spot about 40 minutes south near Malvern. It's not Durango or Truckee but it is worth the time if you are in the area. You can demo/rent from Ouachita Outdoor Outfitters in Hot Springs or just put a post on arkansascanoeclub.com and someone will hook you up.

ASCI in Deep Creek, MD, is like the USNWC in Charlotte but has better playboating features.
