Hi All!
We managed to pull a Hells Canyon permit for June 15th! First time rafting this section, and we are looking at our takeout options. Heller Bar and the great Snake lake seems a bit long, but Pittsburgh landing seems too short. I have read about folks heading over and doing the lower Salmon, but alas, we don't have trailers... Current group thinking is to take out at Dug bar (we should have enough 4x4 trucks). How bad is that road? I grew up in Idaho and have done my share of shitty truck only roads, but want to get a sense for it from someone who has done it in the last couple of years.
