Hey everyone,

Curious...If you were to hike all your stuff down Chukar late in the day could you camp at the put in that night? Get up in the am, grab camp assignments and go?

I'm guessing not, just thinking about logisitics.

Yes, you can do this. No fires.

You can also row upstream, river right and camp at Margaritaville, very easy, and better camp than put in.

There's a decent campground at the top of the trail. Last year we hiked boats down in the evening, fished, then hiked back to the trucks/camp. It was nice having a cooler full of beer and a cot for the night, along with a toilet the next am. Easy hike down in the AM with sleeping stuff in a drybag.
