Green River ABC sections into Lodore?

Alright, I couldn't find much with a search and I'm sure this has been hashed out in multiple threads but I didn't have any luck finding anything on the details of doing the ABC section into Gates.

Got invited on a Gates trip in August, looking to extend the float by putting on at the dam. Best I can tell is that it's 3 days from Flaming Gorge Dam to Gates of Lodore, is that correct? Easy to find beta and info from the Dam to Swinging Bridge, but between Swinging Bridge and Gates is kind of a gap in information. Are there camping options or should I plan on being able to push from Swinging Bridge to Gates in a day? I know I'll need the 'play permit' for this stretch as well.

My current plan is to launch on a Monday camp somewhere low in the B section or upper C section, Camp at Swinging Bridge Tuesday night (or further down if there are camping options), camp at Gates with the group Wednesday night and get ready for our Thursday launch. This seem reasonable?

Three days through AB and C is very reasonable, yes.
F’en A it’s reasonable. Can I come?

After swinging bridge, you can camp at Crook Campground. It is a good move. I did this once, camping 3 nights above Lodore, 1 night in B section, C section, then at Crook. I met the group at Lodore and camped there with them, then had the 4 nights down to Split. First 3 nights by myself, next 5 with the group. It was a nice trip. I fished a lot in ABC sections and in Browns Park, before I met the group. So, for another option, look into camping at Crook, 8 miles above the Lodore campground.

To get the float in permit to the Lodore ranger station was just a phone call last season. River runners will also run from the dam to the Lodore takeout if needed... we ended up setting a double shuttle as we were ditching my sons kayak before Lodore due to the water levels. The best map i could find was the BLM map online and just made some laminated print out for the ABC sections and then scaled the camps on google earth for millage options.

If you have national park's pass it will also cover your parking at the A launch ramp or at Little Hole at the top of the B section...

Feel free to reach out if there is anything I can help with from my side! I also have three Saturdays reserved for on river camping in the B section and don't mind sharing a site if can help with the front end of the trip!
