Howdy all,
Green Mountain releases have been holding steady for a while, but this weekend, they will be gradually going up.

Beginning yesterday, we began increasing releases from the dam to the Lower Blue by 50 cfs a day. Yesterday's flow was about 420. We incresed it to 470. Today, flows will go up to 520. Tomorrow to 570. And, on Sunday, flows in the Lower Blue should be around 620 cfs.

We are responding to the gradually increasing demand further downstream on the Colorado River, including the Shoshone call and downstream irrigators, as well as some increased releases from Dillon.

The reason for the slow rate of increase is to accomodate the work being done on our facility as well as some Division of Wildlife fish shocking going on this week.

As always, please let me know if you have questions or concerns.

Best,
Kara

Thanks for the info, as always. I see you mentioned releases from Dillon. Any chance the upper will be at a boatable flow by Sunday? If not, do you anticipate boatable flows up there in the near future?

Thanks,
Deb

We ran it at about 420cfs last weekend. It's a little boney, but very runable.

Thanks a bunch Kara! I'm bummed I didn't go with everyone else to run the lower blue after we cleaned up from GoreFest. 620cfs is a great level.
