I am thinking about running up to the play park. Wondering if anyone has been up there lately or know how it is right now with the water level as low as it is.

I'm pretty new to the sport, but had a fine time splashing around ithe lower hole at about 140 cfs. You'll feel a large rock hitting you in the ass if you get sucked deep into the hole, but it sure beats catching a diper in the face at Confluence.

By the way, if you haven't read the Golden Play Park water rights decree, check it out:

http://www.courts.state.co.us/supct/watercourts/wat-div1/ordergolden.htm

The last line of paragraph F is ground breaking:
:D "Recreational use is a beneficial use of water in Colorado.":D This sets a serious precident! Just one more reason to be glad that you live in Colorado!
