Going to CO from UT. Are there boat inspections for yaks/rafts?

If you go through Wyoming to get to Colorado during daylight hours you'll need to stop for inspection in Evanston and again in Cheyenne on return. You can bypass Cheyenne by going through Laramie though I don't recall whether or not Laramie has an inspection station. The inspections have been all questions and paperwork. So far I haven't had to unstrap any kayaks or unroll any rafts or even get out of the vehicle for that matter. I'm not aware of any inspection requirements in Colorado for river access, nor any Colorado stations at the CO/WY border.
