Glenwood Springs/ Roaring Fork area. Some Q's!!??

Looking to try out my new 9.5' raft this weekend on the Roaring Fork Cemetery section. From what I have read this is read and run and should be relatively easy and fun.. correct? Is there a better river/section that is even better than this or should I stick to my plans? Is there a mile I can add to the beginning or end of this to make it last longer? I see that it's only about 7ish miles.

Thanks in advance :)

If you can read you'll be fine. Could continue to south canyon and get the park cute and south canyon wave train in.

can you give a few more details on this? I'm not from the area. I know that it merges with the colorado at the end.. how much further is the south canyon wave train? Thanks!
Would certainly add more than a mile, more like 5? Boat chute at water park is river right. South canyon is straight forward train but goes into a bridge pillar that you need to avoid. You could also launch at Carbondale and add several miles to your trip. No whitewater but maybe bring your fishing pole.
You fould launch all the way up near Basalt. Nothing in terms of whitewater, but wwould add miles for getting used to the new raft. Nice little float.
