Ian - obviously being the curator of Bailey you can handle the big water but just wanted to say it's at least 150-200 bigger than grant. Wood also below deer creek that is a unavoidable hazard. See details on my thread under the safety forum.

Sounds good Kevin. Front range is going off right now. Let's hit it this week.

Thanks for the heads up miller time. The more water the better! Nice to know about the log. Any more info on it? How big, how hard to cut out, where exactly?

Probably 10"-15" diameter. It was dusk when we passed it. Dark when we paddled the last 1 mile. It will be there for awhile if you ask me - chainsaw extraction only.

In regards to location... Hmmm, definitely after deer creek. Probably above the small 3 foot drop that I've heard someone call 'Uppercut Undercut'.
