wanna end the season the right way?....are there any kayakers out there that can still smell their manky gear(hasn't been put in storage yet), haven't looked at their ski shit yet or smelled their gnar ski boots? i have paddled some very cold and blizzard type days in jolly ole SCOTLAND(highlands) and in VALDEZ, AK.......looking for foul weather boater(s) to do some foul-weather-kayaking! i know the perfect river that will provide rapids, cold water, no sunshine, difficult portages due to snow, NO ICE DAMS(scouted last week)!!!! i'd like to see how cold it is in the depths of the UPPER GUNNY GORGE.... i am serious....the flow is still 375cfs.....and Doug Wheat(old colorado guide book author) says "you should have under 250cfs for safe navigation".....so doesn't that mean that it is kinda high? kinda? we hit it last year with more water, less snow but it was on NOV 22nd....was nice and NOT cold....970-275-1890 ***git sum***
