I gess it depends on your idea of fun. I stopped by the hole today on my way back from boating, and I saw a guy in there. It looks to low to cartwheel, but flat spinning is easy at this level.
If things warm up there is a CHANCE it could be running in a week or two (by running I mean loops, and full on cartwheeling or what ever else you want to do)
well I hope that helps, see you there!
Minimum Flows for the Whitewater Park are 50 cfs. Optimum Flows should be around 150-200 cfs. We made some changes to several drops this past fall and removed some of the headknocker boulders, so we'll find out soon how much fun we added. The Black Bear starts about at 70 cfs which is where it was today. You can front surf it and do some spins, but understand it is very low water. It scales pretty nicely from here on up. I think the best levels are 400- 1000 cfs.
The black bear hole was sweet last night. I think it peaked at about 170. Flushy but if you dialed in the sweet spot you could spin 'til you were dizzy. I think if it gets up to about 200cfs spud boats should be able to do cartwheels in the hole.
