Sorry, I'm just having a bad week in regards to technology in general. The real reason for this post is that as much as I love the water, it is not good for cell phones. My phone is dead and probably not fixable. So if all you Buzzards out there who have given me your number at one time or another wouldn't mind sending it to me again, I'd greatly appreciate it. Hell, even if I didn't have your number before, feel free to give it to me and I'll give you a call next time I go paddling. Thanks.

Man what a bummer.

Verizon has an excellent service that prevents this travesty. They call it the back up assistant. Big brother collects your contacts discretely every day or so and stores them on their server. It is free if you use online billing. $2 month if you dont. Super handy when changing phones too.
