We went left yesterday just for fun. It was fine, no big waves or anything to avoid other than the wall. We were in a 16' cat. We typically go right, even at lower flows. It's pretty easy to miss those rocks on the right in our cat, so you should be fine. Just be alert.

You can go either way above 400-450 or so. You might be able to go right as low as 350-375, can't remember November last year or March last spring, it's been a long summer! : ) I'll make a mental note this November before it freezes. At any rate, left is your only option once the water get's really low. At this level, right is the easy route, left is slightly more challenging.

Thanks for the advice, just what i am looking for a newbie rafter who is trying just to be a safe boater. Glad there are people out there to help out, however i might go through gore rapid as shown above as that seems slightly less stressfull. Thanks,
