yeeehaw!

Joe and skiyak, I am down for escalante on thurs pm and friday. I'm thinking around 1 or 2 pm if the weather is good. I tried to get up there on the epic sunday and was denied by two foot drifts on red mountain pass.
The level should be good thurs and could get big for fri as it is supposed to warm up.

escalante

I looking for some beta on this creek. I am planning on coming over there this weekend friday or saturday, maybe sunday. Wondering ideas on what levels will be. If any one else will be around, anything helpful. Thanks for the help.

Also how are the scouts / portages. Any known wood or anything like that.

See you at 57 chev. Should be a good crew. I will probably have to drive back to durango tomorrow night. If the embudo holds at a decent level (not too big) then we will probably go down there on sat/sun if you and your friends are interested. Then again, if the esca is epic we might just stay there. What a sweet season already! To mucho! Grande until augusto (p.s. sorry for the spanglish).
Mainer we will keep you posted.

Thanks Floaty. I could do either creek as well. I have run the Embudo but not esca so Im really down for whatever. Esca is closer to Salida so that is kinda nice. Let me know about a saturady or Sunday trip. Thanks.

You guys Rock!
Peace

Hey kids, how's it?
-Level was juicy yesterday. Nothin' to scary in the top section. Fin at 57 was buried. Just enough water to make the sections in between rapids fun and interesting. Good level. there are a bunch of folks going down tomorrow.
-I think that the cold is going to bring down the level some for tomorrow.
-Be on the look out for a yellow boat on the way up as someone lost theirs in an freak, unfortunate set of circumstances.
-sorry i didn't get to post this until now.
