Cheapest and easiest....3 -9' straps. Run it around both bars buckles facing up and placed on one side of the box towards the bottom so you can pull up on the strap to adjust height.

Step on the middle or keep a strap on top of it at camp or it'll tip if its light or you step on the heavy side. A cam on each handle to the frame side rail/ thwart attachment avoids the tip as well, though i forget to do it until i have a tip incident.

A thread on this and or cooler hangers ran a few months back. There were some genious solutions with pics.. Try a search.

I love a drop bag for hauling a too-small cooler. They tip less for me--I think the square ends help a bunch to keep the bottom flat and the vinyl bottom doesn't seem to slide as much as straps.
