Anyone have any experience with DWRing a drytop so the water beads off again? could I activate it in a dryer without hurting the garment?

You should wash the garment in a mild powdered soap like Ivory or something like that. Use the spray on DWR and then throw it in the dryer per the instructions on low heat. That should work for you and the inside of your dryer will be water repellant to boot!

If you use the wash in type of DWR, you also waterproof the inside of the dry top too and it won't breathe as well.

I talked to Stohlquist a little while back about this subject and they said no dryer due to gaskets and such, iron it on low heat after the dwr has dried.
