Eddy Flower says 346cfs is "too low" for Dowd Chute. Is it really too low or does does it just get reduced to pinballing down a bony and entirely less fun drop? Any locals know what the Dowd stick is reading?

As for the Gilman Gorge, does the same apply?

Dowd is low but still runnable and fun in my opinion especially since it's about the only thing going around here. The dowd stick is gone from the high water but I would say it's just over a foot. A couple of us ran Gilman last week in our playboats. The put in was 75cfs and the Gilman gauge showed 140. Again, super low but doable. Def bouncing off rocks in places but all the main rapids go. Not sure I would try it much lower especially since Gore is only 40 minutes away. Don't think I would drive from the front range for it but if you are in town give them a go. Enjoy!

Thx. May do Dowd on my way to GJ. A trip to Gore sounds just perfect.
