I am a person who enjoys making their own gear and I am sure many of you others are as well! Let's see those homemade drop bags, drag bags, tables, utensil holders etc. DISCLAIMER: I am not a gear company looking to rip your designs etc, just a guy who has a sewing machine and likes sitting in front of it!

Here are a few items I have made lately. Don't have any pics of my drop bags or gear bags but will try and get some.

Built a table this winter to fit into my 4th bay on a 13.5' Sotar so the kiddos had a more comfortable place to sit. Couldn't find a manufactured table that fit. Use maker pipe fitting and 3/4" conduit. 3/4" plywood routed out to fit frame. Sits over a drop bag that I also sewed this winter with pet screen from JoAnns. Legs clip into place with broom holder clips. Any input is welcome!

Yeah: that's really well thought out.
I like that you routed all the edges and holes. Easier on fingers, toes, straps, and less likely to splinter the edge of the plywood.
How did you like using the maker pipe fittings? They look really clean.
I like the broom holder clip idea, will have to steal that!
Thanks 4Runner! The Maker Pipe fittings are awesome, and seem pretty burly.

Oh how's that cool front seat!? Where did that come from? Is it cozy? Tables awsome!
Thanks! Front seat(s) are from Walmart of all places. $15 stadium chair and if you look closely in the picture, you can see the little hooks fit perfectly around the frame crossbar to prevent you from tilting backwards. Fairly comfortable, the top bar in the back may get old on long days, but the material is breathable and will shed water and dry quickly.

Like a accordion kinda. Hard ends soft body. Could just use to squares of cutting board and squish a drybag lol but that's not cool. I was thinking (yeah not good) to have a beer can crusher looking mechanism inside the lid of a big ammo can so yo could crank on the lever action of the lid to squish shit then it folded out of the way? Yeah iam not much of an engineer lol. I frigging hate smelly garbage. Best to just have none!! No help at all sorry!
What about something like this, just bigger? The bottom could be hard mesh plastic like a dog kennel flooring, and the straps could be heavier duty NRS type cam straps.

My preference on overnighter trips is what we have dubbed the "dungbeetle". We utilize a roller of plastic wrap made for wrapping furniture for moving. Before we leave camp, the last thing we do is compress the garbage int the bag as best as possible, then two people begin wrapping the garbage bag with the plastic wrap. 5 minutes later you have a water tight, compressed, ball of trash. No leaks, smells, and can stuff in any nook an cranny. Bocci ball loser takes all the dung rolls to the dump after the trip.

Been experimenting with a DIY blaster. $15 weed burner from Harbor Freight and some scrap metal welded into a frame. This burner is no joke. Boiled water super fast. Will be making tweaks to make it fit inside large pot
