I am a person who enjoys making their own gear and I am sure many of you others are as well! Let's see those homemade drop bags, drag bags, tables, utensil holders etc. DISCLAIMER: I am not a gear company looking to rip your designs etc, just a guy who has a sewing machine and likes sitting in front of it!

Here are a few items I have made lately. Don't have any pics of my drop bags or gear bags but will try and get some.

Drag Bags(first design):

Sand Stake:

Med Kit:

Big Horn.......

Interested in your dry box, though I am sure it in another thread.... What did you coat it in?? I used deck over on my deck and it looks like the same product?
New map book holder the goes in between the DRE foot bar.

So..... Redoing my decking.... COVID and all.... I can't remember what the thread was I showed my previous decking... I use what I call sign board... MDF in the building trade world.... My previous deck was MDF with Spar (5 coats per side) and still going after 2 years..... picts in the previous thread..... During COVID I got to thinking.... What if I took the same material, flowed fiberglass resin on the top, spared the bottom, and gel coated the whole thing? What do you think? Cost aside as I had all the materials... I am thinking a nice Gel Coat non-skid would be cool.... Picts to come.
When looking at the Home Depot site.... Partial board is the sawdust..... MDO is compressed paper... It will be an interesting project....

So I got the Gel Coat on my decking and it seems pretty bullet proof. a quart got me 2 bottom coats and 3 top coats...... Wasn't patient enough and messed up my borders a little bit..... lesson learned!
