I am a person who enjoys making their own gear and I am sure many of you others are as well! Let's see those homemade drop bags, drag bags, tables, utensil holders etc. DISCLAIMER: I am not a gear company looking to rip your designs etc, just a guy who has a sewing machine and likes sitting in front of it!

Here are a few items I have made lately. Don't have any pics of my drop bags or gear bags but will try and get some.

Finally found my 'round to it' and built a beaver board for my raft.
5\8 MDO cut to fit, then slots for straps that cross under the board to D-rings and my frame. Rounded everything over with a router, coated it all with epoxy.
Haven't gotten it on the water yet, but I already love it. SOLID, flat platform to stack all my gear on. Gained a significant amount of space vs my saggy ole cargo sling.
For what its worth, I figure it only weighs ~10lbs.
Have contemplated drilling a bunch of 1 1\2holes in it to lighten it further.

The raft I grew up on had wooden dryboxes my dad made. Worked quite well- for a couple decades.
Eventually they started to leak a bit, so I sanded, patched, glassed, repainted them. Used them for several more years. I made someone a very good deal on the whole package after I bought my new boat. I hope they're still in service.

My beaver board has been a game changer for me. I gained cubic feet of storage in my stern, and kept the weight off my floor.

The only downside is that I USE that space! 😄
