I am a person who enjoys making their own gear and I am sure many of you others are as well! Let's see those homemade drop bags, drag bags, tables, utensil holders etc. DISCLAIMER: I am not a gear company looking to rip your designs etc, just a guy who has a sewing machine and likes sitting in front of it!

Here are a few items I have made lately. Don't have any pics of my drop bags or gear bags but will try and get some.

My solar set up and misting system for a June grand trip...

Solar is a 50ah lithium battery, renogy rover elite MPPT controller, and 2x 50watt panels run in series to boost charging in low light conditions.

Mister is a cheap 80psi 1.5 GPM 12volt pump, 3 step filtration 200, 50, 5 micron (5 micron filter not in picture) and a 2 gallon pressure tank. Pump runs for 13 seconds and stays off for 32 seconds running 7 mister nozzles.

Plan on stringing between 3 boats at camp hooked to Bimini tops, or can run up to a river wing depending on situation

I had a mister setup on Deso in 2018 and it was a life saver. Ours was made with a pump sprayer. My bow-flower was the designated pumper. Getting clean (silt free) water was the biggest challenge. I'd love to see the filter setup parts list...
The filter set up is 2 spin down filters 1 with 200micron screen and 1 with a 50 micron screen to remove most of the grit (also a pretty coarse suction sceen on end of suction hose). Both spin down filters have a drain so can be backwashed from the pressure tank that is downstream. then I have a 4.5" x10" 5 micron whole home filter before it goes out to the misters (big blue filter housing with pp sediment filter).

Will have spare pump and extra pp sediment filter incase it plugs up. Will also have alum if I need to flocculate water in buckets...

I had a miserable hot trip down the ditch a couple times so I figured the extra weight and comfort it will provide is worth it
