I am a person who enjoys making their own gear and I am sure many of you others are as well! Let's see those homemade drop bags, drag bags, tables, utensil holders etc. DISCLAIMER: I am not a gear company looking to rip your designs etc, just a guy who has a sewing machine and likes sitting in front of it!

Here are a few items I have made lately. Don't have any pics of my drop bags or gear bags but will try and get some.

Drag Bags(first design):

Hey hey, anyone have a cool designs for a hand-washing station?
Many people have made DIY handwash stations. This is my version. Cost less than $10 but I had the copper parts in my "I-live-too-damn-far-from-a-hardware-store" stash. I used a cheap fuel pump to move the water. I have access to an aluminum fab shop so I made a bracket for the pump and a clip for the soap. The clip keeps the soap out of the dirt. I put a joint in the upright to make it taller so that I didn't need to bend over as much. Don't go too tall or the cheap pump won't be able to effectively lift much water against gravity. The copper upright is held on the bucket with a clamp. Everything fits in the bucket and is secured with a lid. Tip: Warm water in the bucket on a cold morning is really nice.

Found some ratty old 5# and 10# propane tanks. Wire brushed them, painted them yellow, and sent them in for a recert and to have new OPD valves installed.
You didn't build the tanks from some a defunct pressure cooker? :p Very nice work on all that gear you built.

I used these to make straps a long time ago and they worked just fine. Should work for your purposes.

Perfect! I have several oars I will give you (delivery included) if you want to rehab them.
Very creative! I would use fir because it is less dense and would give more flotation with a given amount of weight and I would use screws to attach the two halves which would get rid of the sharp screw clamps.
