Tequila's

OK, put down your foam block for just a second and pay attention. Here's the details on the afterparty for this weeks rodeo.

This week we'll be heading to Tequila's in Golden for dinner and the overall awards will be announced & handed out there. To get there from the WW park start by heading East on 10th St. Cross over Washington and go to the next light which will be Ford St. Make a right and follow this for a mile or so. Ford street will become South Golden Road eventually (you'll pass Burger King & Safeway on your left, then the High School on your right) Now you'll come to a series of roundabouts. Continue on South Golden Road through the first roundabout, and when you get to the second one, you'll see Tequila's on the left side of the road. Do a 270 (nearly a retentive pirouette) and make a right into the parking lot. If you go past Wendy's then you've gone too far. There's extra parking in back by the in-line hockey rink.

The folks at Tequila's are expecting us between 8:30 and 9pm and should have enough space for all of us. Be sure to bring something warm to wear as we're looking at using the outdoor patio if the weather's nice.

As well they will be offering a couple of specials for us. Oh, and did I mention the free shot of Herradura Tequila for everyone of age? Should be a good time.

To answer a question I heard a few times yesterday, the overall awards will be handed out at Tequila's, not riverside like in the past weeks for the individual rodeos. I'm not sure if Gary is going to be doing the weekly awards at the river. I'm sure he'll post the answer soon.

And get your foamies ready. My guy's been in training so much he paddled his arms of yesterday. If you see them.....
