Deso trip, need fun people!

Hey there everybody! I have a Deso trip permitted for 23 May-28 May, 6 total days on river. I would really enjoy it if we could get some likeminded and fun people to go! I can have 25 people, so far I have three including myself. Lol!

I have been on multiple multi night trips, and gladly invite beginners to old timer river rats to join!

Dynamics of us who are going thus far, all three of us: in our 30s, work at a ski mountain and all have extensive first aid and backcountry experience.

PLEASE let’s get this trip rollin and make it epic for everyone!

I would be interested but I don't know if I make the cut as fun people anymore. I spent years in the ski industry too. I'd be looking more for a family trip on deso with my 5 and 8 year old girls. My wife and I left them with grandma for the Selway last year. This would be an age appropriate trip for them with the right people. I do have some required equipment including a selway systems groover. I am definitely on the look out for a deso trip, looking for a family trip. Doesn't sound like I'm who you are looking for. Have fun. Jealous.

Myself, fiancé and couple buddies would be interested. Three boats, same program as you guys are on. Would be our first trip down. Sending them your dates and will get back to you in email. Sounds like an awesome trip!

Ya bro that sounds great! More the merrier! Talk soon
Good timing as well. Deso is fabulous on its way up. No bugs to speak of. After peak it’s a different story.

What kind of group gear do you three have?

I’ve got a groover, kitchen equipment, tons of rocket boxes, fire pan and blanket etc…

Im hoping to get enough people interested to compile a spreadsheet that I will make accessible to those interested with; gear needs/haves, food assignments, boat and people count for the permit etc…

I’m gonna have that up and rolling by mid April!

hey man feel free to email me and we can talk. I want everyone to feel included. I also have a daughter and I 1000% understand the protection that comes with that, e-mail me.
Sounds interesting. I would be solo in a 14' cat. Is that a problem? Think it is similar to the Deschutes in Oregon. Not a standard river for guy from PNW. Looked at AW and seems a mellow raft trip. Put in and take out?

I am a mid 50 yo male, engineer, and like beer at a fire. Sure there is a burn ban but have a propane fire pit if a tank can be figured out. Have numerous multi day trips on my resume. Good for group gear since I have alot. Mellow, laid back and a smart ass.

Hey there,

I just emailed you about this trip, thanks a bunch for posting this!!
Hey Drifting and Dreamin,

I've run the trip dates past my employer and my partner, and I'm good to go if you've still got room!

Looking forward to talking with you about the trip, contact details should be in my email from the other day.

Thanks!!

Hi,
I been a boater for 30 years. (Multiday guide for 20.)
I'm potentially interested in yr trip. Can bring my 15', or happy to row whatever floats (even a loaded cargo raft, if yr renting).
Just watching river levels.
If it's already peaked, I won't do Deso till fall because of the skeeters, but with the flaming gorge releases just announced, may still be plenty high end of may. (I know tons of stupid river tricks; I'm a trained professional!)
On the front range in Co. Where would you be coming from?
You can text direct-303 642-0823.
Till we fleet!

figured I’d post this up from the book of faces I saw this morning
