She's been on the only for the past 4 or 5 years but it's been a busy 4 or 5 years with a significant knee if the frequency of trips. She's all in for whitewater and looks forward to paddling a kayak, sup or taking a shot at the sticks in anything she feels is within her capabilities (and sometimes behind). I so wish I had the same opportunities growing up on the river as she does. And the best part....she realizes how amazing it all is.

We have much to learn from seeing our river trips through the eyes of children.

Apparently none of us spends enough of our river time chasing lizards and squirrels or coating ourselves in mud.

I pledge to work on this.

Be careful. Mine grew up doing that. Now she's a lawyer who thinks cam straps (and paco pads) are common property. It took a raid when she was out of town to get my dirtbike back. Lately she seems to have developed a fondness for my Winston flyrods, but I hide the Sage. I did get visitation rights to the dog.
