When I first joined mountainbuzz years ago it was a nice little thing. I could find well rounded, appropriately prepared paddlers with a lot to offer as far as entertaining stories of epic adventures and also reasonable beta about rivers on my hit list. Everyone was pretty cool. Mellow. Usually most of the shit talkin was Gary E giving Rasta a hard time. It was harmless fun. They were good natured barbs and we were all in on the same joke. Well I guess everything has to grow up. One thing is for sure. If you dish it out, always be ready to take it. If not, your missing the point. I mean this is what we sign up for when we paddle. You gotta "give er" and you gotta be ready to get beat down. I've probably been beat down more times than I care to admit. Sometimes it gets in your head. Don't let it. Have fun!
