Heading to CR in early April with my wife and teenage daughter. I’d really like to run some whitewater in an (outfitter provided) hard shell while they’re guided in a paddle or oar raft. The Pacuare river really peaked my interest with the mid way lodge.
Does anyone have any recent experience with this arrangement? Covid was not kind to the river industry down there and the old relevant posts I searched are rather dated.

Pacuare Outdoor Center. Brand new fleet of kayaks, will do combo trips and they own two of the lodges on the river. Do 2 days at the Lodge, its worth spending time down there and the zipline and tarzan swing are legit. We've done several trips with them and Tom and his crew are top notch. Tell them we referred you and they'll treat you real well.
