We took the snow cat to the ridge at 12,400, from there we descended and
climbed the next ridge to 12,200, dropped down and then started climbing
San Luis. Things looked grim from our first view, but we were able to
ski the whole thing, with the bottom 1500' being 6-9" of powder. 9 hour
day arriving back at the cat around 5:30 p.m.
